Pitter Patter Studios is a professional photography business located just outside the peaceful village of Kilmessan, in Co Meath. Specialising in baby & pet portraiture, we tailor each photography session to the needs of the client, providing a hassle free experience from start to finish. Most photo shoots take place in our large home studio, with the remainder shot on location. We offer a range of high quality products that will seal previous memories for a lifetime, all available to view in my studio.
Selina had a passion for photography all of her life. From as far back as she can remember, she was messing about with her mothers cameras. During her first maternity leave from her full time corporate job, she decided to pursue a photography qualification & studied part time in the evenings & weekends in Griffith College, graduating in 2014. A truly enjoyable experience, this intensified Selina’s passion & ignited her interest in studio photography.
It probably won’t come as a big surprise that as Selina completed this course while on maternity leave with her first child, she developed a keen interest in newborn & baby photography. Over the next few years, Selina completed a mentorship with another newborn photographer that she held in high regard and completed additional newborn photography training & safety workshops.
In 2017, the doors of Pitter Patter Studios first opened offering newborn & baby studio photoshoots. As a mother herself, to 3 children by this time, Selina was acutely aware of how quickly time passes in those busy and sleep deprived years. Pitter Patter studios strives to give all clients an opportunity to slow down and take a pause from their busy lives to capture cherished moments with their children.
In 2024, we expanded to offer pet portraiture, photographing dogs and horses, Selina’s two favourite animals. Dog photo shoots can take place in the studio where we will take close up shots capturing your dogs unique expressions, styled/ themed shots for added cuteness as well as owner & pet cherished moments. If you’d prefer to have your session shot at a special location that is meaningful to your dog & you, this can also be arranged. Horse photoshoots are shot on location, usually at riding schools and livery yards. Whether it’s a dynamic action shot, a serene stable scene, or a heartfelt moment between you and your horse, I specialise in creating images that reflect your unique story.
